Wednesday,April 20,2011 Mango continues its expansion plan in the travel retail with the opening of its second store in the San Francisco Airport.The first store of the brand in this airport is in Terminal 3 and the new shop is located in the recently renovated and opened Terminal 2.These two institutions are added to the point of sale that the brand already has in San Francisco,specifically in the Westfield San Francisco Centre. With this new opening,the fashion chain has 10 stores in the United States located in Costa Mesa,Las Vegas,Miami,New York,Santa Monica and Washington.
The new premises of 59 m2,this new design concept wabi distinguished by spaces that combine minimalist composition and heat objects from nature with the use of natural materials such as wooden flooring or pine one of the windows of the shop.In addition,the room is lined with linen to create a warm although the main characters are always clothes atmosphere. For lighting,two lamps Foscarini design were chosen.

Mango began its international expansion in 1992 with the opening of two franchises in Portugal.In 2010,the brand opened 380 new stores,or more than one store per day: 7 in Spain and 373 abroad.The chain ended the year 2010 with a turnover for the Group Consolidated MANGO MNG Holding SL and dependent companies of € 1.270 billion for sales of duty-free shops and property sales franchises. The turnover of the chain Mango (excluding sales taxes) amounted to EUR 1.585 billion.
