Who follows the blog a little while ago (where have you been?!),Might not know that in 2009 I experienced one of the coolest experiences of my life.Living in New York for five months was a dream girl,ok that was the focus shop study architecture, but then came to fashion and my final destination was studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology, the famous FIT.
Since I studied there and obviously shared everything here ,I answer a lot of emails on the subject.Trying to demystify a beast with 7 heads and clarify some doubts,so with that there is nothing more rewarding than receiving emails from girls who were there to study thanks to tips from the blog (this post here super help).
Now studying in the city requires a certain investment, now imagine winning a scholarship to three months in Parsons, the main city college and scenery of Project Runway? The Parsons concorridíssima is vague and impossible to get to their courses and degrees, now get it all and still free, awesome, huh?
Well,I told the miracle, the saint now goes by the name of Carmen Steffens ,that the just created your first course of fashion design and style. In addition to the scholarship they still will award one month internship in brand and shoe winner will be marketed in the CS 200 stores worldwide.

Getting a job in design in SF (coming from NY)2008-05-20 13:58:30 by drle
It's impossible! I'm working as a designer for a eveningwear fashion house in NY and I have been looking for fashion design or related jobs in San Francisco and i'm coming up empty. I'll be moving back to California by the end of June and ive been searching for design jobs since February with no luck. I know fashion companies are mostly located in NY and LA but I know there are a few in San Francisco however I don't know anyone who can help me get in. I have applied to Levi's and Pottery Barn numerous times but no response. Can anyone help me or know someone that can help? I wouldn't mind job agencies as well
